Piano Wall™ combines a precast retaining wall and safety barrier in a single engineered unit. This unique solution was developed for projects that require a five- to ten-foot-high-reinforced earth wall incorporating a traffic barrier. The use of Piano Wall speeds up highway construction and reduces cost on projects requiring low-grade separation between opposite roadways or between a roadway and the adjacent non-traveled area. Installation rates of Piano Wall average 170 linear feet of barrier and 1,700 square feet of Reinforced Earth retaining wall per day. Piano Wall provides a seamless transition to higher reinforced Earth walls or abutments being constructed on the same project.
